Subject: Consul General interaction with Indian citizens from Mizoram in Macau
As part of its ongoing diaspora outreach initiatives, the Consul General of India, Hong Kong and Macau SARs, Mr. Rajesh N. Naik held an interactive session with Indian nationals hailing from the state of Mizoram who are currently residing and working in Macau.
The meeting provided a vital platform for the community to engage directly with the Consulate. In a heartfelt and productive exchange, the Indian nationals from Mizoram shared their personal experiences of living abroad and discussed various challenges they face in their daily lives.
Consul General discussed the community's concerns at length and offered necessary guidance. He assured the attendees of the Consulate’s continued and proactive support, emphasising that Consulate acts as a reliable home away from home for every Indian citizen living overseas.
The interactive session not only helped address immediate consular grievances but also served to strengthen the cultural and community bonds among the diaspora.
The Consulate General of India remains deeply committed to the welfare, safety, and prosperity of the Indian community abroad. The Post will continue to organise regular consular camps and outreach programs to ensure accessible services, and facilitate the well-being of Indian nationals in Hong Kong and Macau SARs.
