Seafood Expo
The Seafood Expo Bharat 2026 (SEB 2026), along with the Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM), being organized by the Marine Products Export Development Authority (MPEDA), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. The event will be held from 01 to 03 July 2026 at the Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, India.
2. MPEDA is the nodal agency for the promotion of seafood exports from India. India is among the world’s leading seafood exporters, with exports to nearly 130 countries and a total export value of approximately USD 7.45 billion in the last financial year. SEB 2026 will feature over 325 exhibition stalls and is expected to attract more than 5,000 business delegates from India and abroad. The programme will include a Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet, product showcases, tasting sessions, technical presentations, and exposure visits to seafood processing plants and aquaculture farms.
3. Selected international buyers will be provided with the following hospitality support:
- • Reimbursement of international economy class airfare up to USD 2,000 per person (one representative per company);
- • Complimentary 5-star hotel accommodation during the event;
- • Airport transfers;
- • Networking lunches and dinners with Indian exporters;
- • Pre-arranged B2B meetings with leading Indian seafood processing and exporting companies.
4. The Expo offers an excellent platform for Hong Kong-based seafood importers to explore reliable sourcing opportunities, establish new business partnerships, and gain deeper insights into India’s seafood industry.
