Youth Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Competition
The Consulate General of India, Hong Kong & Macau SARs invites youth of the Indian diaspora in the age group of 21-25 years in Hong Kong and Macau SARs to participate in an essay writing and social media reel making competition. Selected top entries will get a unique opportunity to participate in the upcoming Youth Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2027, to be held in Kolkata, West Bengal, in January 2027.
Theme: “From Roots to Return: Reigniting Connect of Diaspora Youth with Bharat”
Eligibility: Members of the Indian diaspora residing in Hong Kong & Macau SARs aged 21 to 25 years
Participants may select one of the following formats:
- Essay Writing (800 to 1,000 words)
- Social Media Reel Making (60 to 90 seconds)
All entries to be submitted by: Wednesday, 04 November 2026 at culture.hongkong@mea.gov.in
