76th Independence Day Celebrations

 76th Independence day celebrations was organised by the Consulate in a grand manner at the Grand Ballroom, Island Shangri-la. As part of the celebrations, Consul General Satwant Khanalia hoisted the National Flag and read out excerpts from the Hon’ble President’s address. Indian community actively participated in the events with patriotic songs by Sur Sadhna Group, Bharatanatyam on ‘Jai Ho’ by Salangai Dance Academy and Kathak on ‘Bharat’ by Sri Shakti Academy. During the occasion, Consul General Khanalia also distributed medals to the proud winners of the #AKAM Quiz held in January 2022.
